Intro to Home Health has been revamped and is 4- hour workshop designed for new members of the home health agency team, including new management and direct clinical staff. The workshop will cover a broad range of topics that every home health staff member should know.
Colleen Bayard PT, MPA, COS-C, Director of Clinical and Regulatory Affairs will cover a review of the Conditions of Participation, Medicare requirements, MassHealth Regulations, how OASIS effects Home Health Compare, Star Rating, Value Based Purchasing and the new payment model, Patient-Driven Grouping Model, importance of documentation to reflect skill and medical necessity, explain the survey process and more!
Home Health is a complex industry with many regulations that are frequently changing, intro to Home Health will review the most up-to-date rules and regulations. This program is perfect for new staff members that have been hired within the past 1-3 years, as well as, for the staff that would like a refresher session.
