The line between legal and illicit drug use, particularly when marijuana is involved, has become increasingly difficult for Massachusetts employers to navigate. In this webinar you will learn how to respond to employee medical and recreational marijuana use and how to create and implement processes and policies that are legally compliant; balancing an employee’s rights (especially when it comes to medical accommodations) with the employer’s legal obligations to create a safe and efficient workplace.


SPEAKER: Layla Taylor, Esq., Partner, Sullivan Hayes & Quinn
Layla, a generalist in employment and labor law, is able to navigate tough state and federal terrain on a variety of issues. She successfully represents clients in complex employment-based litigation. She has a wealth of knowledge in immigration and school law. Layla relies on thorough preparation and focuses on helping clients establish best practices that prevent conflicts and lawsuits. PAYMENT POLICY*: HCA of MA now requires that payment in advance. If we have not received payment before the event, you will be asked to provide it or proof of incoming payment in order to attend the meeting.
