The home health industry has experienced increased scrutiny by all payers on justification of patient need for services.  In this webinar, BlackTree Healthcare will review regulatory requirements that drive the need for clear documentation of care provided.  We will also discuss examples of how clinicians can improve their documentation to justify the preauthorization of visits, and support visit utilization for all payers including Medicare and Mass Health.  An additional focus will be provided for documentation supporting chronic disease management and behavioral health programs.

Charles Breznicky, MSN, MBA, Clinical Consulting Manager at BlackTree Healthcare will discuss tactics for improving documentation to demonstrate both skill and need for home health care. During this webinar, he will also highlight documentation practices regarding patients with chronic illness or behavioral health issues, as well as new CoP requirements.
